We are a specialist market access consultancy that works with small to medium-sized life science companies wishing to launch in the UK and Europe, to help them navigate the access environment giving them the best chance of making their products routinely available as quickly as possible. We specialise in rare and orphan diseases, cell and gene therapies and oncology, and thrive on overcoming the most challenging and complex access issues.
We provide end-to-end holistic support with a cross-functional approach of which the Policy and Public Affairs team are an integral part.
Up to £70,000 FTE (based on experience)

You will support MAP’s Policy and Public Affairs team by managing and leading a range of client projects with a focus on delivering high-quality and effective policy and public affairs strategies, including policy monitoring, consultation and policy writing, event planning, client liaison, project management and stakeholder mapping. All the work we do aims to support clients shape and influence the access and uptake policy environment to improve access for patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Working directly on projects to provide expert strategic and policy oversight, and strategic input and direction to a range of HTA submissions, market access and pricing projects, leading on the more complex projects, whilst supporting and guiding junior team members.
Ensuring that the Policy and Public Affairs team are running projects both efficiently and effectively. Delivering projects to the high standards of professional and technical excellence that we pride ourselves on within the business; this will involve you in providing mentorship and oversight of the team on occasion and the effective use of our existing project management online systems.
Working with the Head of Policy and Public Affairs to ensuring the Policy and Public Affairs team size has the right blend of experience and project seniority as it grows and develops.
